Gen 1 God creates everything that exist. He gives direction to man to multiply and also identifies what food is meant for what species.
Gen 1:1 This verse is also provides the foundation for all biblical symbolism. The first two pieces of the symbolic puzzle are introduced.
1. Heaven
2. Earth
This is foundation of all symbolism and our spiritual journey.
We have a choice to love our Creator and strive for an eternal life in heaven with Him
or
We can choose to love the things of the earth.
We choose either heaven or earth.
Gen 1:1 Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
God is all powerful. The creation account is the foundation for our belief in and faith of The God. It is this foundation that is so heavily attacked by satan and the world. satan knows that if he can make the foundation crumble in doubt, then he has gained a firm foothold in the mind of mankind. If God did not create the world as He said He did, then the whole of the Bible is in question.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Either everything is as it is written in the Bible, or it isn't. There is no wiggle room to be found in these verses. God created everything in six days or the whole Bible is in question.
The name of God is introduced in this verse.
